Urja Global partners with Tesla Power for battery manufacturing in India

Urja Global Limited recently announced its partnership with Tesla Power India Private Limited for the manufacturing and supply of batteries under the TESLA POWER USA brand. The purpose of this agreement is for Urja Global to become the manufacturer and supplier partner of batteries in India.

As part of the collaboration, Urja Global will also utilize Tesla's service centers to promote their EV battery service requirements, particularly for E-2 Wheeler Batteries.

Following this news, Urja Global shares have experienced a significant surge, hitting the upper circuit of 20% for two consecutive sessions. This increase has led to a 55% return for shareholders in the past week and a remarkable 60% return in the last month, with the stock price rising from ₹7.80 to ₹12.70 apiece.

However, it's worth noting that over the past year, the small-cap stock has not generated any returns for its shareholders, as it has declined by approximately 0.50% during this period.
